Knutsford Sports Club is a friendly club located in the heart of Knutsford, catering to squash, tennis, cricket, and archery enthusiasts. As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to promoting sportsmanship, physical well-being, and community engagement.
Our club offers top-notch facilities and a welcoming environment for members of all ages and skill levels.
TENNIS
Knutsford Tennis Club boasts seven all-weather floodlit courts, recently refurbished to ensure a high-quality playing experience. These courts are free for members to book year-round. The club is highly active, with three men’s teams, three ladies’ teams, and three mixed winter league teams. They compete in prestigious competitions, including the North Cheshire leagues, Cheshire National, NECLTC leagues, Summer League Team Tennis, and internal club tournaments.
SQUASH
Knutsford Squash Club features two superb glass-backed squash courts, ideal for both competitive matches and casual play. The club fields five senior men’s teams and two junior teams, all participating in the North West Counties Squash League. Coaching is available for juniors and seniors, alongside regular leagues, social squash sessions, and various competitions. The club’s vibrant community makes it a welcoming space for players of all skill levels.
CRICKET
Knutsford Cricket Club offers well-maintained cricket pitches and a clubhouse that serves as a social hub for players and supporters. The club has two senior teams, the 1st XI and 2nd XI, which compete in the Cheshire Cricket League against local clubs. The facilities support both competitive matches and training sessions, fostering a strong sense of camaraderie among members.
ARCHERY
North Cheshire Bowmen, based at Knutsford Sports Club, provides exceptional archery facilities, including an outdoor range for summer sessions and an indoor range accessible year-round. The club caters to Recurve, Compound, Barebow, and English Longbow archers, with around 140 members. Activities include introductory training courses, competitions for all skill levels and friendly matches with local clubs..
